My Teaching Philosophy

As someone whose background began in performance, my greatest goal as a teaching artist is to share my love of theatre with students, especially those experiencing it for the first time. I strive to create an environment where students feel safe to take creative risks, make mistakes, and celebrate all successes.

Neshaminy Summer Stock

  • I direct the annual musical theatre showcase production featuring approximately 50 students between the ages of 7-10 years old.

  • I teach music, scene work, and theatre basics. At the end of the month long intensive the students perform a 45 minute musical for family and friends!

Walnut Street Theatre

  • I assistant directed the Walnut Street Theatre for Kids’ production of Newsies Jr.

  • I taught a summer camp for ages 8-12 focusing on devising their own play.

  • I also assisted and led various classes throughout the year.
